For 6th, 7th and 8th Graders not yet confirmed- Confirmation class will start back up on Wednesday, September 10th at 6:00 pm. The class will be taught by Pastor Mark Peske, students should be joined by parent. Hope to see you there!
Centershot
Centershot Ministries ages 8 - adult
Centershot Ministries combines archery instruction with Bible studies to reach young children
and their families sharing God’s Plan of Salvation, Discipleship, Witnessing and Stewardship,
“Aiming to Make Christ the Target of Our Lives”
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church offers two Centershot sessions a year: A winter 9 week session beginning in January and a 6 week summer 3-D outdoor class in July. Summer classes are held Thursday nights from 6 - 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall/outdoors and our Winter classes are held from 6 - 8 pm.
Classes are typically split into a beginners class who learn “God’s Plan of Salvation” and the basics of archery, and our more advanced shooters, who rotate through a variety of bible studies and practice perfecting their archery techniques.
If you are interested in participating, please let us know and we will provide you with more information. We are always looking for volunteers, so if you’d like to volunteer on the range or in Bible study, please contact Our Redeemer for more information

Lenten Soup Supper and Services
The Lenten season begins on February 18th with Ash Wednesday. Start every Wednesday night at 5:30 pm with a free-will offering meal hosted by various ORLC groups and end with our 6:30 pm Lenten Service.

Vision Retreat
Russ Shields and Amanda MacDonell are hosting a Vision Retreat at Our Redeemer on Saturday, Marth 7th. The mission is to define where the church is headed over the next 1-5 years. All are welcome to participate. Snacks and lunch will be provided.

F.B.I. Youth Group- Snowshoeing
All youth grade 6th-12th welcome to join in our January event- SNOWSHOEING!. Hosted by Aaryn Forst on Sunday, January 18th from 1:00pm- 3:00pm. Meet at the Forst home to explore the trails around their home. Contact the church office if you need a pair of snowshoes and for the exact address.

Christmas Cookie Walk
Our Redeemer’s Annual Christmas Cookie Walk will begin at 8:00 am - 9:45 and 11:05 - 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 14th. Donations of homemade cookies, pies and sweet bread will be accepted on Saturday the 13th.
Ornament Making
Youth and Family Event- Gather in Library for ornament making and a hot cocoa station. All are welcome.
Ladies Christmas Party
Winter Wonderland!
Join in on the Ladies Annual Christmas party at Our Redeemer. Lunch is provided (no need to bring a dish). NO gifts, instead a container for a free will donation to Elder Circle will be available. Valet service available and if you don’t drive we have you covered. Call the church office and we will pick you up.
Church Christmas Decorating
Join us in decorating the church for Christmas. When: Friday, December 5th at 3:00 pm.

Youth Roll Sunday
Youth will be serving rolls after service on Sunday, Nov. 23rd. Free will offering to support F.B.I. events.
Acolyte Lesson
Ever wanted to be the one to light and extinguish the altar candles during service? Come for a brief lesson on the how and why. This is open to all appropriate age groups.
F.B.I. Youth Group- Bowling
Our Faithfully Believing In Christ group is getting together for some fellowship and bowling on Nov. 22nd at Thunder Alley in Grand Rapids.
Annual Fall Bazaar
Pick up quilts, home canned goods, lefse, wall-hangings, Swedish meatballs, raffle tickets and more. Proceeds go to Mission Outreach.
Visiting the Pumpkin Patch
Youth and families are invited to visit Cowhorn Crossing’s Pumpkin Patch on October 11th at 1:00 pm. Entrance Fee cost will be covered by the church.
Pastie Making
Monday will be prepping for our pasites: peel potatoes, carrots, rutabaga from 9:00 - Noon, and will begin making pasties from 1-5 pm. Tuesday we will continue to make them from 9:00 -5:00pm. Please Call the church if interested in purchasing or helping. Thank you
Youth Group Pumpkins and Bonfire
October Youth Group Event (6th-12th Grade)
Join us Saturday night for food and fun; Pumpkin Painting, Dinner, Bonfire, Flashlight Tag. The group will be voting and picking the new Youth Group name. Have your entry ready! Hosted at Angela and Kaleb Christenson’s home. See you there!
Youth Group Movie Night
Dinner, Devotion and Movie for our Youth Group (6th-12th Grade). Will be held in the Library. Kids are welcome to bring a friend.
Family Faith Fair
Every August we host an end of the summer fair focused on Faith and Family. Come for service and stay for fun, fellowship and a pot bless meal!
Rummage Sale
Join us for our second rummage sale of the year. The proceeds go to local community needs, put on by the Our Redeemer Ladies group.
Centershot Summer Session
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Summer Family Picnic
Summer Kick Off Picnic
When: June 29th after church
Where: Picnic- Tioga beach Pavilion 1
What: food served at 3-5 pm.
Beach, swimming, fishing dock, play ground, bike path, kayaking and canoeing
We invite everyone to the summer kick-off picnic. This will be a combined congregational picnic and kayak/canoe trip.
Bring Friends and family. All are invited. We have the Tioga pavilion reserved all day, so come whenever you please, we will begin grilling at 3 pm. Food will be provided. Bring a chair.
Kayak/canoe trip: If you are interested in a paddling trip, it will begin 1 pm at Power Sta on boat launch, 100 Blackwater Road, Cohasset. We will paddle through Jay Gould to Pokegama and end at Tioga Beach to join the church picnic by 3pm.
